Pack Meetings

Save the Date!!

Our September Pack Meeting will be held on Friday, September 25th. We will be starting at 6:00pm and will have a challenge course for the scouts to concur!

The meeting will be held at Meadowood Park and will take place at the same time/place as the Rocket check-in. Remember to bring your rockets if you are planning to participate in the Rocket Launch on the 27th!

Labor Day Parade
Monday, September 7th
Mendham, NJ

Looking for a way to get some steps in before enjoying your funnel cake at the Labor Day Carnival? Join us and march in the parade! As with the 4th of July parade, we will be throwing candy to the children along the parade route. The theme for this year's parade is "250 Years of Freedom, 120 Years of Community", celebrating the major milestones of American Independence, and 120 of the incorporation of Mendham Borough as a municipality.

We will gather at Rt. 24 and Tempe Wick Rd between 9:00am and 9:30am and will begin marching at 10:00am.

Class "A" Uniforms are required for all Scouts and Adult Leaders! Parents and siblings are welcome to march alongside their scout and should wear their Pack t-shirt if they are a non-leader.

Please bring candy for the scouts to throw! More information is provided on ScoutBook.

Model Rocket Launch
Sunday, September 27th
Mendham, NJ

Join us Sunday, September 27th for our annual model rocket launch event. Rockets will be available for pick up at the annual picnic on Sunday, August 30th at Brookside Beach or at the optional workshop on Saturday, September 19th (details below).

Scouts are welcome to join at anytime during the event, but we are providing the following launch schedule as a guideline:

11:00am: 4th and 5th graders
12:00pm: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders

This is a recruiting event so please ask your scouts to invite a friend. Please advise interested friends they will need to participate in the required check-in event on September 25th as well.

The following are part of the Rocket Launch event. More information is provided on ScoutBook:

OPTIONAL: Rocket workshop: Saturday, September 19th from 1-4pm in Meadowood Park in Mendham Township- scouts can pick up their rocket kits and also assemble their rockets. Assistance will be available.

REQUIRED: Rocket check-in on September 25th between 5-7pm at Meadowood Park in Mendham Township. This check-in will coincide with the September pack meeting.
