Pinewood Derby Registration and Vehicle Check in

All cars must be registered and checked-in the night before race day. Check in consists of weighing, measuring, and approving the car for race and then impounding the car in the race garages Friday night. Groups are urged to check in at their Grade Level time if able. It helps to keep the process organized and efficient. Check-in times are as follows:

Lions, Tigers and Wolves (Grades K-2): 6:00-7:00 pm

Bears, Webelos and AOLs (Grades 3-5): 7:00-8:00 pm

Race day!!! Bring your family to watch your son's car race down the track! See the below times for each rank. Please try to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before race time on the day of the race so we can maintain a manageable number of people.

As in years past, if your child finishes in the top 3 of his Rank, his car will race again in the final Championship Race along with the other top finishers by rank. We will hold the cars that will race in the finals. Any scouts that do not make the finals will be free to take their cars home immediately following their race.

Please wear Class A uniforms to the Derby.

Adult volunteers will be needed to help set up on Friday, and take down Saturday

10:00 - 10:45 - Tigers and AOLs (and siblings)

10:45 - 11:30 - Lions and Webelos (and siblings)

11:30 - 12:15 - Wolves and Bears (and siblings)

12:15 - 12:45 - Parent/Extreme race (Extreme includes cars that did not meet the car qualifications in the manual.)

12:45 - 1:30 - Championship Race, top 3 of each Rank
