Pack 3 Picnic at Brookside Beach & Popcorn Kickoff!

Please join us for our 7th Annual Pack Picnic at Brookside Beach to kick off the new Scouting season! We will have fun in the sun while swimming, boating and playing in the sand. Have a friend who's thinking about joining Pack 3? Invite them to join you at the picnic. Pizza will be served, along with some sweet treats. Please bring your own chairs and beverages. We will also kick off our Popcorn Fundraiser. You won't want to miss this event! Please make sure to RSVP so we can have the appropriate amount of food!.

Labor Day Parade
Monday, September 1st
Mendham, NJ

Pack 3 Families,

Pack 3 has once again been asked to lead the Labor Day parade! We are thrilled to do our part to keep this Mendham tradition going! We would like to have a strong showing at the parade.

We will gather at East Main St and Heritage Manor Dr (across from Post office) at 9:30 and start marching at 10am! Please wear Class A uniforms. (New Scouts can just wear navy blue shirt and shorts.)

Please bring bags of candy you wish to throw out to the crowd! It's always a fun time for everyone! Hope you can make it!

The parade ends at Borough Park in case you wish to park closer to the end of the parade route after dropping off the boys

Model Rocket Launch
Sunday, September 14th
Mendham, NJ

Join us on Sunday, September 14th and your scout can launch his own model rocket! Please RSVP to this event so that we have enough rockets and engines for everyone! You can pick up your model rocket kit at the Pack 3 Beach Party on August 23rd, or at a location to be announced after that date. 

We will have an optional model rocket assembly workshop on Sunday, September 7th from 1-4 PM at the Mendham Township Meadowood Park Pavillion. The mandatory rocket check in will be on Friday, September 12th from 5-7 PM at the same location - we need all rockets checked in at that event so that we can do a final check on them and get them ready for launching. Then show up on Sunday the 14th to launch!

You are welcome to join us at any time between 11 AM and 1 PM on the 14th, but our goal is that the Scouts will launching their rockets by this schedule:

• 11 AM: 4th and 5th graders
  12 PM: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders
